ArduCopter 3DR -RTF- Fully featured UAV development platform

This Hexacopter vehicle is based off the ArduCopter 3DR. This kit is designed and manufactured at the 3D Robotics headquarters in San Diego, California.

It comes with frame fully assembled* and ready to use, with several options available to customize, such as telemetry, sonar, OSD/FPV, RC radio, etc.

* LiPo battery and charger:

You can read basic info about LiPo batteries here. Here's one inexpensive source. You'll also need a charger,power supply (if not included with the charger) and some connectors (remember to use same type of connectors on battery, charger and PDB). We recommend 3300 [mAh] 3S 30C-45C batteries for Quads (around 15 min. of flight time) and 5000 [mAh] 3S 30C-45C batteries for hexacopters (around 12 min. of flight time).*Depends on load weight, and throttle usage.

If you ordered the FPV/OSD option, you will need an independent 12V power supply. It comes already with the connector plug XT60 to connect any 3s (11.1V) Lipo battery, any capacity from 1000 [mAh] to 1300 [mAh] will give you around 30-40 mins of power.

* Telemetry Radio:

It is very important that you find out what the local country or region regulations are on frequency, hopping channels and power levels and configure your 3DR Radios correctly for your local rules. More info here.
